The Project Management Department
The Project Management Department at Paragon Europe in Malta is made up of five persons working on a full time basis. The day to day work of the team includes sourcing new partners and project proposals; liaising with new consortia on proposal writing and submission of various proposals under the different funding programs; and management of ongoing projects (the team is currently managing 25 projects) which includes liaising with partners, conducting research, organizing local events, attending (and a times organizing) partner meetings and reporting.
The working language is English.
The general activities which all interns participate in, include the following:
Identifying past project leaders and partners in project proposals submitted and building databases which include information about the funding programme, past project experience and contact information; Identifying persons to contact for open calls in the areas of interest to Paragon and as instructed by the project officers;
Contacting potential partners via email/telephone
Work on on-going projects
This work will be assigned depending on the needs of the team and includes research, report writing and assistance in event organisation;
The project management team publishes press releases and articles on topics of interest and ongoing activities – article topics are discussed and assigned according to the work being carried out; Interns are assigned this task on a weekly basis.
